Bad Quarter for Boss Media

Bad Quarter for Boss Media

The third quarter for the online casino software provider Boss Media has not been a good one. They have reportedly taken a decline in operating profit of almost 35% to just over 11 million from just over 17 million.

Unfortunately the nine month report was not much better. The numbers have fallen by 8%. The net profit for the nine months was 35.2 million as compared to last year at the same time at 57.1 million.

Boss Media has reported that the market for online gambling has experienced a moderate growth within many segments during the third quarter. Increased internet penetration has continued to have a good long term effect on the growth in several of the markets. The poker segments looks to be good for growth to go on, but maybe in a slower rate that in the years past.

The growth in sales in the last quarter has continued to be a little bit of a let down and efforts to increase these sales have been put into place. This company has initiated work on changing and making the sales stronger, they also know that new and updating products is expected to have a good impact on the new quarter coming up. They are hopeful that these new changes are going to make a positive impact on their numbers.

Basically Boss media has not been losing players, but they have just made a conversion to Euros from US Dollars and this is going to have an impact on the numbers because of the number of players not being allowed to play online anymore.
