WTO Decision to Come Soon
The World Trade Organization is expected to make a decision in the long running
battle between the United States, Antigua and Barbuda. The suit has to do with
the Internet gambling laws that were passed last year. The two nations are
arguing that they have lost immense amounts of money and that they believe that
the United States should have to pay them over $3 billion. The ruling is
expected any day now and may come as early as Friday; it also asks that the
nations can suspend copyrights for American movies, music and software.
